How to Join Boy Scouts

If you are a boy 6 to 21 years old, or a girl 14 to 21 years old, intreseted in joining the Boy Scouts of America please contact Phillip Mitchell at or visit to find a Unit near your home.

Stolen Trailers

In case you had not heard, one of our Big Tepee Troops had two of their Troop trailer stolen this weekend. It is never good to hear about someone stealing from a youth group, but it hurts even more when it is one of ours. To make it even worse it was Troop 47 from South OKC. The area they serve is one of the lowest income areas in our Council, not just our District. The Troop estimates that with both trailers and the equipment they have accumulated over their 67 years will cost about $50,000 to replace.

We would like to ask all Troops or anyone in the District that might have excess equipment to consider donating it to Troop 47. If you do not have excess equipment, they have set up a GoFundMe account to help raise money to start replacing the trailers and equipment.
